Player Summary
The war was won two weeks ago. This was the cleanup, the graves the party never finished, and it went exactly as sideways as this group does.
Reinforcements finally reached the cemetery gate. Orion debriefed them and recommended the surviving captain for bravery. Then, instead of heading home to Beadale, the party decided to search the rest of the graveyard.
They split up. Cartman kicked in a double-door mausoleum airborne-style (angel statues inside), and more zombies than anyone expected poured out. Fresh ones, too, which should not be possible now that Mexoz is dead.
Caelum went electric: Bladesong up, a Voltedge lightning beam through two zombies, then a 3rd-level Lightning Bolt to clear the room. Then Dom had to leave early, so Caelum wandered off “to check the thunder” and never came back.
Orion Turned three zombies and sent them fleeing. Kimber, still wearing her zombie disguise, cast Mirror Image and led a three-woman corpse can-can before pied-pipering the shamblers toward the stairs. Wrathgar loosed a three-arrow Volley and, true to form, put one of them into Caelum by mistake, then bandaged him up (“my version of Cure Wounds”).
Downstairs, Cartman lit an altar with his Sunblade, breathed frost over a skeleton, and (on a natural 1) flipped his own sword straight into a zombie’s hands before finishing it with a Divine Smite fist. Oggy hung back on blindsight, let the two new guys “audition,” then cleaned up.
The session ended on the stairs down: fresh undead still rising from an underground catacomb, and Oggy, Cartman, and Wrathgar descending into the dark to find out why.

- Into the catacomb - Session ends as Oggy, Cartman, and Wrathgar descend into an underground catacomb where fresh undead are still rising.
